>       Use of analytics to detect potential fraudulent activities
>       Enterprise reporting of fraud
>       Releasing the value of data collected

14:00 - 14:45 - Solutions for Merging BASE24-es and BASE24 systems

During this session, Barry will explore the techniques ACI is considering for merging BASE24-es components with BASE24 systems as part of the evolution process. Barry will show how a BASE24-es interface component will function within a BASE24 environment. An update of the plans and preparations for Release 1 Version 06.4 to facilitate the integration of BASE24-es components with BASE24 will also be provided.

16:00 - 16:45 - PCI - How Will it Impact ACI Products?

Due to increased threats of data and identity theft, the major card associations have mandated a new and significant security standard, the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS). The new standard is a harmonization of the various card associations' data protection standards, and is mandated for all applications that handle cardholder data. This session provides an overview of the PCI Data Security Standards, Visa and MasterCard's enforcement of the standards, and reviews the findings from a recent security assessment of ACI's core products.

One of the more challenging control objectives in the PCI standard is the requirement to encrypt cardholder data. The second portion of the session will include a high level overview of database encryption, followed by group discussions on requirements, such as:

Encryption of data in flight vs. data at rest

What fields should be encrypted to meet PCI and/or your regional

security/privacy standards

What files should be encrypted

Secure file transport between the payment engine and other

applications

Key Management Requirements

Interested participants are encouraged to download PCI information from the following links, and be prepared to share their requirements on the topics listed above.

· The role and future of devices in the Payment industry

· Can you really make money out of ATMs without alienating your customers ? e.g. Advertising, Surcharging

· ATM Fraud Prevention and Detection – has the nut been cracked?

· EPPs – failure rates and replacement costs

· The ATM Multivendor concept – what are the issues ?

· ATM Performance – with the advent of high resolution graphics do ATM deployers now need to be more conscious of ATM performance than

they used to be ? We’re all used to performance testing host systems but what’s the approach to performance testing the ATM software itself ?

· Has internet banking taken over from ATMs as the number one customer touch point for Banks?

10:00 - 11:00 - POS User Group

Kay will review enhancements in BASE24 version 6, those planned for version 7 as well as trends affecting the POS acquiring business such as
